Telecel Cash

9 of the nine bookmakers whose cashier this edition could read publish this rail, 100% of them. Acceptance across the market: universal.

Still called Vodafone Cash on several bookmaker cashiers and on a good deal of what is written about Ghanaian betting. Telecel Cash is the current name and the one a reader will see at the till.

Books publishing Telecel

As each bookmaker labels the row in its own cashier, which is what a reader sees at checkout. A row marked inferred was derived from a published ceiling rather than from a cashier row.

The ceiling on a large payout

The real ceiling on a large betting withdrawal, and it is set by the central bank rather than by any bookmaker. A minimum-KYC wallet cannot receive more than GH₵3,000 in a day, more than GH₵10,000 in a month, or hold more than GH₵5,000, so a big win has to be split or the wallet upgraded. The monthly cap is the one that actually binds: splitting a large payout across consecutive days does not get round it, and only an upgrade to Medium or Enhanced KYC removes it, because monthly value is unlimited at both of those tiers. Enhanced KYC is the full-KYC ceiling: GH₵25,000 a day and a GH₵75,000 balance.

What this page does not claim

  • No fee charged by the network itself, because no network publishes a tariff this edition could verify. A figure would be a guess wearing two decimal places.
  • No withdrawal time measured here. Every speed on this page is the wording a bookmaker publishes about its own cashier.
  • No claim that 1xBet, Melbet, 22Bet and Betwinner decline this rail. Their cashiers could not be opened, so they are absent from the table and from its denominator.

Questions this edition is asked

Which Ghanaian bookmakers take Telecel Cash?
Bangbet, BetFox, betPawa, Betway, MSport, Premier Bet, Soccabet, SportyBet and Wiwi Casino. That is 9 of the 9 whose cashier this edition could read, which is the only denominator worth quoting: a book whose cashier will not open from outside Ghana is missing from our reading rather than from the rail.
Does Telecel Cash cost anything to use for betting?
On the bookmaker's side: free where published. On the network's side no verifiable tariff was found for any of the three wallets, so this edition records none rather than repeating a figure it cannot check. What is settled is that the government levy is gone: The Electronic Transfer Levy was cut from 1.5% to 1% at the start of 2023 and then repealed outright on 2 April 2025, and the GRA told charging entities to stop deducting the same day and refund anything taken after it. No government levy sits on a mobile money transfer today.
Is there a limit on what I can be paid into a Telecel wallet?
Yes, and it is not the bookmaker's.
Can I withdraw to Telecel Cash?
Where the bookmaker publishes a withdrawal side, yes. The lowest withdrawal floor published on this rail anywhere in this edition is GH₵1.00.
